Worship and Music – Committee deals with all phases of the music and worship experience at Trinity. Planning liturgy, Altar Guild, Trinity’s Concert Series, Obtaining special performers for services, advertising, instrument maintenance are but a few of the areas this committee is responsible for. Stewardship – Committee is responsible for ordering offering, Advent and Lenten envelopes and for the annual Stewardship Campaign to encourage support of Trinity through gifts of money, time and talents. Christian Education – Committee works with the congregation in providing educational opportunities such as Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Camp Scholarships and other programs for all ages to further their relationship with Christ and his church. This is accomplished through advertising, daily devotional materials, new member and inquirer’s classes, Christcare and celebration of our Christian beliefs both inside and outside our church doors. Social Ministry – Some programs falling under this committee include a food pantry and clothing bank, ministry to our hospitalized, nursing home and homebound members through delivery of birthday gift bags and flowers, the Parish Nurse program and support of the Washington County Literacy Council which is housed in our building. Fellowship and Parish Life – Our church’s social committee which is responsible for the annual church picnic and other congregational social activities and meals. They also sponsor our coffee hour and other receptions for special occasions.
